The products shown in the order summary

4.3. Amount

  • Subtotal (incl. VAT): as given in the order
  • Discount: as given in the order
  • Shipping: as given in the order

4.4. Payment

  • Payment method: as given in the order

Payments are taken by credit or debit card through the PayTR virtual POS, with 3D Secure verification. Any instalment charge is shown to the Buyer at the payment step and is included in the total amount. Card details are not stored on the Seller’s systems.

Prices shown on the Site apply at the time the order is placed. Any later price change does not affect an order already placed.

4.5. Obvious price or stock errors

If the price or stock information of a product is clearly wrong on the Site because of a technical error (for example, a price far below the product’s market value), the Seller may decline the order. In that case the Buyer is informed within 3 (three) days at the latest and the full amount collected is refunded within 14 (fourteen) days at the latest.

4.6. Natural product

The products are natural agricultural products. The colour, aroma, taste, cloudiness and sediment of olive oil may vary with the harvest year, olive variety and storage conditions; clouding or solidifying in the cold is natural. These variations, and minor colour differences from the images on the Site, are not defects.

4.7. Invoice

The invoice is issued as an e-archive invoice and sent to the e-mail address the Buyer gave with the order.

Article 5 – Delivery

5.1. The product is delivered to the delivery address given in Article 1.2 by the Seller’s contracted shipping company.

5.2. The Seller usually dispatches the order within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation; this is an estimate. In all cases, delivery takes place within the statutory limit of 30 (thirty) days from the date the order reaches the Seller.

5.3. Delivery area: addresses within Türkiye only.

5.4. Where the product is to be delivered to a person or organisation other than the Buyer, the Seller is not liable if that recipient refuses delivery.

5.5. The Seller is responsible for loss of or damage to the product until it is delivered to the Buyer or to a person designated by the Buyer. If the Buyer requests shipment by a carrier of their own choice rather than the Seller’s contracted carrier, responsibility passes to the Buyer once the product is handed to that carrier.

5.6. If the order cannot be fulfilled, for example because a product is out of stock, the Seller informs the Buyer within 3 (three) days of becoming aware of it and refunds all payments received within 14 (fourteen) days at the latest.

5.7. If force majeure beyond the Seller’s control – such as natural disaster, epidemic, fire, flood, war, strike, disruption at the shipping company or an order of a public authority – delays delivery, the Seller informs the Buyer. If the force majeure lasts longer than 30 (thirty) days, the Buyer may cancel the order and the full amount paid is refunded within 14 (fourteen) days at the latest.

Article 6 – Seller’s Obligations

6.1. The Seller delivers the product in sound and complete condition, conforming to the order, together with its invoice and any usage information.

6.2. The Seller presents the Preliminary Information Form to the Buyer before the order is confirmed and sends this agreement to the Buyer’s e-mail address, on a durable medium, after the order is confirmed.

Article 7 – Buyer’s Declarations and Obligations

7.1. The Buyer confirms having read, understood and electronically approved the Preliminary Information Form on the Site, covering the main characteristics of the product, its price, payment method, delivery terms and the right of withdrawal.

7.2. The Buyer confirms that the name, address, e-mail and phone details given with the order are correct. The Seller is not liable for delivery delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

7.3. The Buyer is advised to inspect the package in the presence of the courier upon delivery. If the box is crushed or leaking, a bottle is broken, or the package is otherwise damaged, the Buyer should have the courier draw up a damage report («Hasar Tespit Tutanağı») and should not accept the delivery.

Article 8 – Right of Withdrawal

8.1. The Buyer may withdraw from this agreement within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the product, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. The right of withdrawal is subject to the exceptions in Article 9.

8.2. Where several products in a single order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts on the day the last product is received.

8.3. The Buyer may also exercise the right of withdrawal before the product is delivered.

8.4. It is sufficient for the Buyer to send the withdrawal notice to the Seller within the withdrawal period.

Article 9 – Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Olive oil and other food products are, by their nature, subject to hygiene standards. Under the Regulation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products whose protective elements, such as packaging, band, seal or wrapping, have been opened after delivery and which are unsuitable for return for health and hygiene reasons.

To exercise the right of withdrawal:

  • the packaging, cap and protective band of the product must not have been opened;
  • the product must not have been tried, spoiled or used; and
  • the product must remain in resaleable condition.

Food products whose packaging or cap has been opened, or which have been used, cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons.

This article does not limit the Buyer’s statutory rights under Article 12 where a product is defective or damaged.

Article 10 – Exercising the Right of Withdrawal and Returns

10.1. The Buyer notifies the Seller of the decision to withdraw by a clear statement within the withdrawal period. Notice may be given by e-mail to info@leaoliveoil.com, by written message to the WhatsApp line +90 530 510 79 42, or in writing to the address in Article 1.1. The model form attached to this agreement may be used but is not mandatory.

10.2. The Buyer returns the product to the Seller within 10 (ten) days of sending the withdrawal notice.

10.3. The product to be returned (with its cap unopened) is sent with its invoice, by the Seller’s contracted shipping company, carriage payable by the Seller, to the address below. For returns made through the contracted shipping company, the Seller covers the shipping cost.

  • Return address: Armutlu Mevkii, Killik Mahallesi, Köprübaşı / Manisa, Türkiye
  • Shipping agreement code: sent to the Buyer once the return request is e-mailed to info@leaoliveoil.com; return shipping is paid by the Seller

Article 11 – Refunds

11.1. The Seller refunds all payments received from the Buyer, including delivery costs, within 14 (fourteen) days at the latest from the date the withdrawal notice reaches the Seller.

11.2. The amount is refunded to the credit or debit card used for payment. The time it takes for the refund to appear on the card depends on the bank’s procedures.

11.3. The refund is made using the same means of payment the Buyer used, without any cost or obligation to the Buyer. For instalment payments, the bank may reflect the refund on the card in a single amount or in instalments, according to its own practice.

11.4. The Buyer is liable for any change or deterioration of the product caused by use beyond normal inspection during the withdrawal period. If the product is returned through a carrier other than the Seller’s contracted shipping company, the return shipping cost is borne by the Buyer.

Article 12 – Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

12.1. Where a damage report has been drawn up, once the product reaches the Seller it is replaced with a new one or refunded, as the Buyer prefers.

12.2. If a product is defective, incomplete or different from the order, the Buyer may exercise their statutory rights under the Law’s provisions on defective goods, such as withdrawing from the agreement, requesting a price reduction proportionate to the defect, or requesting a replacement with a non-defective equivalent. In such cases, shipping costs are borne by the Seller.

12.3. To help us resolve the matter quickly, the Buyer is asked to report any damaged, defective or incorrect product to info@leaoliveoil.com with a photograph once it is noticed.

Article 13 – Payment Not Approved

If the payment is not approved, or is later cancelled, by the bank or payment institution for any reason, the Seller is released from its obligation to deliver and informs the Buyer. Any amount already collected is refunded to the Buyer.

Article 14 – Personal Data

Personal data shared by the Buyer with the order is processed for delivery, invoicing and customer service, in accordance with the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. Further details are available in the Site’s Privacy & Security Policy and in the Personal Data Notice.

Article 15 – Complaints and Dispute Resolution

15.1. The Buyer may send requests and complaints to info@leaoliveoil.com or to the address in Article 1.1.

15.2. Disputes arising from this agreement may be brought before the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) at the Buyer’s place of residence or where the transaction was made, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and before the Consumer Courts for disputes above those limits. Where required by law, mediation must be sought before filing a lawsuit.

15.3. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

15.4. If the Buyer purchases for commercial or professional purposes (as a merchant or tradesperson), the consumer rights under the Law do not apply; the Courts and Enforcement Offices of İstanbul Anadolu have jurisdiction over disputes, and the Seller’s electronic records constitute conclusive evidence.

Article 16 – Entry into Force

16.1. Before confirming the order, the Buyer confirms having read and accepted all terms of this agreement and the Preliminary Information Form, and acknowledges that confirming the order creates an obligation to pay.

16.2. This agreement is formed when the Buyer confirms the order electronically. A copy is sent to the Buyer’s e-mail address and kept by the Seller.
